House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed Janu-
ary Session, 1876, Chapter 48, entitled an Act to regulate
the closing of roads in Prince George's County, and to enact
the following instead thereof.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Hill, Gorman and Combs, of St. Mary's.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the Sheriff's fees in
Charles County, so far as the same relates to the keeping of
prisoners and their removal to the penitentiary.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 32d Section of Arti-
cle 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to testa-
mentary law, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay N. C. Robertson, Clerk of the Baltimore City Court,
the cost and expenses in certain cases in which the State of
Maryland was the plaintiff, and judgments rendered in favor
of the defendants.

tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay the claims of James S, Watkins, John Brohawn and
John Kelly.

General Laws, relating to husband and wife, Article 45, by
adding a section to repeal the liability of the husband for the
