NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Sulivane, from the Select Committee, submitted the
following

REPORT.

The Committee appointed to select chaplains for the Sen-
ate respectfully report that they have selected the following
divines for that purpose:

Rev. B. S. Highley, M. E. Church; Rev. J. H. Dashiell,
M. E. Church; Rev. L. D. Travers, M. E. Church.

And that the usual compensation for one chaplain be di-
vided among them.

Which was read and adopted.

Mr. Gorman, from the Committee to which was referred
the distribution of the subjects of trie Governor's Message
to the appropriate committees, submitted the following

REPORT.

The Committee appointed in reference to the distribution
of the subjects of the Governor's Message to the appropriate
Committees for their consideration, respectfully recommend:

That such portion of the Message of the Governor as re-
lates to the Financial Condition of the State, the Baltimore
and Ohio Railroad, the Assessment of Property, the Weigh-
master of Live Stock, the Executive Contingent Fund and
other expenses of the Government, be referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

That such portions as relate to the Justices of the Peace
and Police Justices, as well as all suits pending, to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
