same to be delivered to the Harbor Commissioners of Balti-
more City; provided, one hundred copies of said maps are
filed by the Harbor Commissioners in the office of the Secre-
tary of the Senate for the use of the Senate.

Which was adopted.
On motion by Mr. Combs, of St. Mary's,

Leave was granted to Senators Combs, of St. Mary's, Gor-
man and Lancaster to introduce a bill to be entitled an Act

to create a new election district in St. Mary's County, to be
called Election District, No. 8, by dividing Election District,
No. 2.

On motion by Mr. Garey,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to repeal Section 6, of
an Act passed January Session, 1876, Chapter 235, entitled

an Act to repeal Chapter 163, of the Acts of the General As-
sembly, passed January Session, 1866, entitled an Act to in-
corporate the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church in
Federalsburg, in Caroline County, and to substitute the fol-
lowing in lieu thereof, and to re-enact said Section 6 with,
amendments.

On motion by Mr. Combs, of St. Mary's,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to be entitled an Act to pay Jos. F. Morgan, a
Justice of the Peace of St. Mary's County, for expenses in-
curred in arresting violators of the fishery laws of the State.

On motion of Mr, Combs, of Allegany,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to in-
troduce a bill to be entitled an Act for the promotion and im-
provement of Agriculture in the State of Maryland.

Mr, Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 138, of Article
16, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery,"
as enacted by Chapter 428, of the Acts of 1874, and to re-
enact the said section with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Gorman, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably the following bills :

Senate bill entilled an Act to repeal Section 296, and sub-

Section 1, of the Public Local Laws of Washington County,
