Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the East New-
Market Navigation and Wharf Company.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor, Alder-
men and Common Council of Frederick, to borrow a sum of
money not exceeding in the aggregate $15,000 to meet,
the cost of an additional introduction and distribution of
water in the City of Frederick, and to issue bonds for the
same.

Senate bill entitled an Act to continue the corporate exis-
tence of the Bank of Commerce, in the City of Baltimore,
and to authorize the cancelling by it of two thousand seven,
hundred shares in the capital stock thereof.

Which were read the first time.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

House bill entitled an Act to amend the Code of Public
General Laws, Article 75, title "Pleadings, Practice and
Process," sub-title "Practice," by adding a new section;
thereto,

Without recommendation.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. McLane, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Board of Trade of Baltimore City.

Which was read the first time, and ordered to be printed.

Mr. Franklin, from a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Worcester County to erect and maintain a
bridge over Herring Creek in said county, and to levy a sum
of money therefor.

Mr. Stump, from a Select Committee, reported favora-

bly,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prohibit Life Insurance Com-
panies from contesting the payment of losses on policies,
after having received premiums thereon for two years.

Which was read the first time, and ordered to be printed.
