the southern end of South street, in the City of Baltimore,
and to make valid to them the title conveyed to them by the
Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, by a deed dated on or
about the 24th day of January, in the year 1854.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Steiner, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 78, of the Act
of the General Assembly, passed at the January Session,
1874, entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed at the Janu-
ary Session, 1865, Chapter 74, entitled an Act to repeal Sec-
tion 310, of Article 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
'entitled "Frederick County," and re-enact the same with an
amendment, and to substitute in lieu of said Act the follow-
ing, and to re-enact the said Act so as to read as follows,

With the following amendments :

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

1st. Amend title so as to read, "a, bill entitled an Act to
repeal Section 310, of Article 11, of the Public Local Laws,
entitled 'Frederick County,' as re-enacted by Chapter 78, of
the Acts of 1874, and to re-enact said section so as to read as
follows."

2. Amend Section 1 so as to read, "Be it enacted by the
General Assembly of Maryland, that Section 310, of Article
11, of the Public Local Laws, entitled 'Frederick County,'
as re-enacted by Chapter 78, of the Acts of eighteen hundred
and seventy-four, be, and the same is hereby repealed, and
re-enacted so as to read as follows."

"310. The Sheriff of Frederick County shall be entitled
to twenty-five cents per day for boarding each prisoner com-
mitted to the County Jail."

Sec. 2 to stand as in bill.

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time.

Mr. Freeman, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 202, and to
amend and re-enact Section 198, of Article 3, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled "Baltimore County," sub-title
"Wild Fowl,"

With amendments.
