Steiner, Humphreys and Freeman.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to explain certain corporate
powers and privileges heretofore conferred, and also to confer
additional powers and privileges upon the Convention of the
Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Easton, by
authorizing it to receive by gift devise or otherwise, contri-
butions in money, land or other property, and to hold the
same for the purposes therein mentioned.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee oh Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 946, Article
4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, Volume 2, title "Balti-
more City, " sub-title "Witnesses, " and to re-enact said Sec-
tions with amendments.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to refund to Robert J. Price, of
Dorchester County, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 15, of Article
81, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Revenue
and Taxes, " and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Finance.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared, and deliv-
ered the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

January 29th, 1878.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We respectfully request your Honorable Body to return to
this House the bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 15, of Ar-
ticle 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Revenue
and Taxes, " and to re-enact the same with amendments.
