30, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Crimes
and Punishments, " and to re-enact the same so as to read as
follows, with sub-sections thereto appended.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to give and declare the sanc-
tion and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to
the bequest of Nancy Donovan, late of Allegany County,
Md., deceased, to St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Cumber-
land.

Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 5, of the Act
of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January
Session, 1874, Chapter 144, entitled an Act to repeal Sections
5 and 6, of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at January Session, 1872, Chapter 212, entitled an
Act to provide for taking a vote for or against a new county
in certain election districts in Allegany County, at the elec-
tion to be held in the fall of 1872, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, and to re-enact said Section 5 with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows, viz.

mittee on Elections.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 130, of Article
3, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Baltimore
County, " and to re-enact the same with amendments, im-
posing additional duties upon certain Constables in said
county.

Which was read the first time, and referred to Senators
Freeman, Dennis and Peter.

Also, delivered

House bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the
December Session of the year 1839, Chapter 303, entitled an
Act to incorporate the Junior Fire Company of Frederick
City, in Frederick County, and the supplements thereto, by
changing the name of said Company.
