I make the following nominations for Montgomery Coun-
ty, rendered necessary by the passage of an Act establishing
new additional districts:

Officers of Registration.

6th District,—Samuel W. Boswell.
7th do Clayton Williams.
8th do Robert M. Mackall.

Justices of the Peace.

6th do Samuel Higgins.

6th do Ed. L. Hays.

7th do Heath Dodge,

7th do Christ W. Landsdale.

8th do Henry N. Harris.

8th do Z. Joseph Davis.

On motion by Mr. Ford,

The aforegoing appointments were referred to the Commit-
tee on Executive Nominations.

Mr. Ford, from the Committee on Executive Nominations,
to which had been referred the nominations for Baltimore
County, reported that the Committee were of opinion that
said nominations ought to be confirmed.

Whereupon the Senate advised and consented to said nomi-
nations.

On motion by Mr. Ford,

Leave was granted to the Governor to withdraw from the
files of the Senate the nomination of A. Wayson Ensor as
Justice of the Peace for the 8th district of Baltimore County.

On motion by Mr. Ford,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.
