1032 EXECUTIVE PROCEEDINGS

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March 20, 1878.
Gentlemen of the Senate ;

I nominate William K. Everett Justice of the Peace for
Second District of Kent County, provided for by Act of As-
sembly of present Session.

JOHN LEE CARROLL.
On motion by Mr. Hepbron,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment.

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, March. 21, 1878.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

I herewith withdraw the name of Jacob Shue nominated
on the 21st of February, as Officer of Registration for the
18th Ward of Baltimore City, and nominate in his place
George Bond as the Officer of Registration for that Ward.

JOHN LEE CARROLL.

On motion by Mr. Cooper,

The aforegoing appointment was referred to the Commit-
tee on Executive Nominations.

Mr. Ford from the Committee on Executive Nominations,
to which had been referred the nominations for Baltimore
County, reported that the Committee were of opinion that
said nominations ought to be confirmed.

Whereupon, the Senate advised and consented to the said
nominations.

Also, reported that the Committee were of opinion that the
nominations for Allegany County ought to be confirmed,
except the nominations of J. Flannigan, Owen Reardon, F.
A. Murray, John Barth and Joseph M. Strong for Justices
of the Peace; John C. Hoffman and R.W.Williams as Regis-
tration Officers, and Edward Donahue Superintendent of the
National Road.

Whereupon the Senate advised and consented to said nom-
inations.

Also reported that the Committee were of the opinion that
the nominations for Howard County ought to be confirmed,
