tion 38 of Article 52, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, entitled 'Justices of the Peace."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

By Mr. Goslin,

A bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Security
Trust and Loan Company."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Also,

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal and re-enact sec-
tion 18 F, chapter 457 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, 1898, entitled 'An Act to re-
peal Article 45 of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Husband and Wife,' and re-enact the same with
amendments."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.

By Mr. Harrison,

A bill entitled "An Act to authorize, empower and
direct the Board of County Commissioners of Freder-
ick county to enter into an agreement with the proper
authorities of London county, in the State of Virginia,
in the purchase of the Berlin and Lovettsville bridge
over the Potomac river, and to provide a fund for the
payment of one-half the cost of purchasing said bridge
and the inaintenance thereof as a free bridge for the
use and benefit of the people of the State of Maryland
and Virginia."

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.

A bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a certain
sum of money for work done by William I. McDer-
mott, on the Fifth Regiment Armory, in Baltimore
