House bill, File No. 72, entitled "An Act to refund
to Charles G. Biggs of Washington county, a sum of
money erroneously paid by him into the State Treas-
ury."
Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill, File No. 37, entitled "An Act to add an
additional section to Article 81 of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title 'Revenue and Taxes,'
sub-title 'Payment of Taxes by Corporations,' to fol-
low section 81 A, and to be designated as 'Section
81 B.'"
Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
Also,
Senate bill, File No. 217, entitled "An Act to declare
the sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to
a bequest of $2,500.00 with the collateral inheritance
tax to be paid by the estate of Miss Willie Swan, of
the city of Baltimore, to Emmanuel Protestant Episco-
pal Parish of Allegany county, Maryland."

Senate bill, File No. 210, entitled "An Act to pro-
hibit the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer or intoxicating drinks of any kind at any
place in Frederick county, within two miles of the
public school house in Urbana district of said county
known as Sugar Land, or Mountain School House
otherwise known as school No. 6 in election district
No. 7 of said county, and also to prohibit the giving
away or distributing of such spirituous or fermented
liquors or laiger beer or intoxicating drinks of any
