vide for the distribution of fines imposed and recog-
nizances forfeited in the Circuit Court for Worcester
county, not otherwise provided for by the Local Laws
of Worcester county, and for the payment of certain
moneys now in the hands of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for said county, paid to him under the provis-
ions of chapter 407 of the Acts of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, at its session of 1896."

Mr. Kirbin, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
House bill, File 454, entitled "An Act to authorize
and empower the Mayor and City Council of Ocean
city to borrow the sum of fifteen thousand dollars
($15,000), and to issue coupon bonds therefor, the
same being the balance of the amount authorized by
chapter 528 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at its session of 1898, but not here-
tofore borrowed."

engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill, File No. 202, entitled "An Act to enable
the Mayor and Council of Snow Hill, in Worcester
county, to borrow upon the faith and credit of said
town a sum not exceeding fifteen thousand dollars,
and to issue and sell coupon bonds therefor; to provide
funds for the improvement of the streets, avenues,
alleys and ways of said Snow Hill, and to provide for
the levy and collection of taxes to meet the interest
and principal of said bonds as the same become due."
