1898. chapter 384, under the title 'An Act to add a
new section to Article 9 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Charles County,' sub-title 'County Com-
missioners,' to follow section 56 and to be designated
as 'Section 56 A,' and in lieu thereof to enact and add
another section relating to the printing and .publish-
ing required to be contracted for by the County Com-
missioners of Charles county to Article 9 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title 'Charles
County,' sub-title 'County Commissioners and County
Treasurer,' to come in immediately after section 49 of
said Article 9 and to be designated '49 A.' "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Charles delegation and Mr. Wells.

A bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 117, 118
and 121 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title 'Baltimore County,' sub-title
'Health and Sanitary Officers,' as enacted by chapter
515 of the Acts of 1902, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.' "

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Baltimore county delegation.

By Mr. Linthicum,

A bill entitled "An Act to provide for a special
election in Baltimore city for the submission to the
legal voters of said city of an ordinance (the same to
be so submitted at such time and place as shall be
fixed thereby pursuant to the provision of section 7 of
Article 11 of the Constitution of Maryland) authoriz-
ing the insurance of stock by the said corporation to
an amount not exceeding six million ($6,000,000) dol-
lars, for the purpose of supplying additional means
for defraying the expense and cost of carrying into
execution the plan of improvements adopted or to be
adopted under the terms of the Act to create a com-
mission on the burnt district of Baltimore city, and
for other purposes, passed at the January Session of
the General Assembly of Maryland, in the year 1904."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore city delegation.
