road Company, to enlarge its powers and to sanction
and authorize the construction of the Western Mary-
land Tidewater Railroad Company of the route and
bridge set forth in this Act."

Senate bill, File No. 78, entitled "An Act to add
one new section to Article 56 of the Code of Public
General Laws of the State of Maryland, said section
to be known as "Section 83 A,' for the purpose of pro-
hibiting the issuance of licenses for the sale of liquor
or intoxicating beverages of whatsoever kind on the
Potomac river or upon the property of the Chesapeake
and Ohio Canal Company, within the State of Mary-
land."
