A bill entitled "An Act authorizing and directing
the Mayor and Council of Hagerstown, in their dis-
cretion, to levy and collect annually in perpetuity, a
sum of money in aid of the maintenance of a hospital
to be established in the town of Hagerstown, Wash-
ington county."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Washington delegation.
By Mr. Goslin,

A bill entitled "Au Act to refund to certain collec-
tors of State taxes herein mentioned, moneys errone-
ously paid by them into the State Treasury "

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
By Mr. Tannant,

A bill entitled "An Act authorizing and directing
the County Commissioners of Washington county, in
their discrection, to levy and collect annually, in per-
petuity, a sum of money in aid of the maintenance of
a hospital to be established in the town of Hagerstown,
in said county."

of money to the Franklin Square Hospital of Balti-

the Commissioners of Thurmont, Frederick county,
State of Maryland, to purchase or construct water-
works, for the purpose of supplying water f or the res-
idents and town of Thurmont, and to issue bonds for
the payment of the same.
