Petition of C. E. Postley and 27 other residents of
Hyattsville, Prince George's county, requesting an
amendment to the bill introduced in the House of
Delegates providing for the bonding of the town to
establish a sewerage system in order that the question
of its issue of bonds may be voted upon by the people.

Which was read and referred to the Prince George's
delegation.

Mr. Collins presented petition of W. S. Merrick and
83 other citizens of Trappe district, Talbot county,
opposing the Haman Oyster bill.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries.

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Hopkins, it was
Ordered, That Messrs. Jones and Murphy, of Dor-
chester, be excused from to-night's session on account
of bussiness.

On motion of Mr. Murphy, of Baltimore city, it
was

Prdered, That Mr. Morrison be excused from at-
tendance at this day's session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Haines, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Kain be excused from tonight's
session on account of business.

On motion of Mr. Lansdale, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Pearre be excused on account of
business.

On motion of Mr. Jackson, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Dodson be excused on account
of important business.

On motion of Mr. Bouchet, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Reed be excused from tonight's
session on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Bosse, it was
Ordered, That Messrs. Baker and Evans be excused
from attendance at tonight's session on account of
