for in the aforesaid Act of Congress and to use all
possible effort to secure the location of said encamp-
ment in said Garrett county; and be it further resolved,

That the Governor of this State be and he is hereby
respectfully requested to send a copy of these resolu-
tions, properly engrossed, attested with the Great Seal
of this State to each of the Senators and Representa-
tives from Maryland, and also a copy to the Chief of
Staff of the United States Army, and a copy to the
Chairman of the Committee on Military Affairs of the
United States House of Representatives.

Which was read the first time and referred to the
Committee on Federal Relations.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 55. entitled "An Act to define
certain duties of the city surveyor, elected under sec-
tion 2, Article 7, of the Constitution of Maryland, and
to fix his compensation therefor."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore city delegation.

Also,

Senate bill, file No. 17, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 106 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title 'Dorchester County,' sub-title 'County
Commissioners, County Treasurer and Collectors.' and
to re-enact the same with amendments."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Dorchester delegation.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 35, entitled "An Act to enable
'The Harriet Lane Home for Invalid Children of Balti-
more city, to increase the number of its managers."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Baltimore city delegation.

Also,

Senate bill, File No. 83, entitled "An Act to prohi-
bit the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors and
lager beer in all that part of election district number
