Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Garrett delegation and Mr. Drumm.
Also,

Senate bill, File No. 9, entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 1 to 28 inclusive. Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title
"Alms House," and all amendments thereto, and to
re-enact the same with amendments."

Which was read the first time, and referred to the
Somerset delegation.

House bill, File No. 39, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments, chapter 93, entitled an
Act to add to the power of the Mayor and Council of
Takoma Park."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amendments proposed by Committee:

First. Amend by inserting after the figures "93" in
second line of the title to bill, the words and figures
following: "of the Acts of 1900."

Second. Amend by inserting after the figures "122"
in fifth line of the title to bill, the words and figures
following: "of the Acts of 1900."

Third. In section 1, line 2, after the figures "93,"
amend by inserting the following words and figures:
"of the Acts of 1900."

Fourth. Amend by inserting after the figures "112"
in line 1, on page 2 of the bill, the words and figures
"of the Acts of 1900."

Fifth. Amend by striking out the word "author-
ities" in line 13 of page 8, of the bill, and insert in

lieu thereof the word "statutes."

Which amendments were concurred in, and bill
passed by yeas and nays, as amended, as follows :
