in relation to the public highways of said county to a
person or corporation engaged in the production, sale
or distribution of electricity unless such person or
corporation shall have been previously authorized by
the General Assembly of Maryland to produce, sell and
distribute electricity in Baltimore county."

engrossed for a third reading.

House bill, File No. 783, entitled "An Act to require
all Auctioneers making sales in Baltimore county to
pay a license fee."

Mr. Feaga, from .Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 721, entitled '''An Act to ex-
tend the corporate limits of the city of Cumberland."

Which was read the second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for the third reading.

Mr. Bond, from Select Committee, reported favoi;-
ably,

Senate bill, File No. 84, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 52 of Public Local Laws, title 'Calvert County,'
sub-title 'County Commissioners,' and re-enact the
same so as to read as follows."

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Charles, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably, with amendments,

Senate bill, File No. 382, entitled "An Act to repeal
section 391 of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland,, title 'Washington County,' sub-
title 'Surveyor,' as amended by chapter 267 of the
Acts of 1894, and re-enact the same with amendments.''

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out all in line 8 after the word "map" to the
word "establishing" in line 10.

In line 12 add the words "map or," after the word
"make." ;

After the word "make" in line 13 strike out "and
after the course" down to line 17.
