On motion of Mr. Murphy, of Dorchester, it was
Ordered, That Messr. Jones and Wiftgate of Dor-
chester, be excused on account of important business.

On motion of Mr. Bond, it was

Ordered, That Messrs. Wilkinson and Buckler be
excused from to-day's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Murphy, of Baltimore city, it
Was

Ordered, That Mr. Morrison be excused from at-
tendance at this day's session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Charles, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Mitchell be excused from to day's
session on account of sickness.

On motion of Mr. Wells, it was

Ordered, That the Superintendent of Public Build-
ings and Grounds, be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to purchase and furnish a desk, filecase, table,
chairs, stationery and other suitable furniture and
supplies for the use of the Committee on Engrossed
Bills and Resolutions as soon as possible.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Green, it was

Ordered, That the Chairman of the Committee on
Chesapeake Bay and Tributaries be empowered to
employ a clerk for the use of the Committee.

Which was read and referred to the Committee
on Claims.

On motion of Mr. Gill, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Pearre be excused on account of
important business.

On motion of Mr. Stump, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Jenkins be excused from atten-
dance at to-day's session on account of business.
