Mr. Keys, from the Committee on Roads and High-
ways, reported without recommendation,

House bill, File No. 810, entitled "An Act to add an
additional section to Article 3, Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title 'Baltimore County,' sub-title

'Roads,' to follow immediately after section 188, as
enacted by chapter 685 of the Act of the General As
sembly of Maryland, passed at the January session of
1900, and to repeal and re-enact with amendments,
section 196 of said Article, title and sub-title as en-
acted by said chapter."
Upon motion,

The bill was placed on its Second Reading.

Mr. Carroll, from Committee on Insurance and
Loans, reported with the recommendation that it be
referred to the Committee on Judiciary,

House bill, File No. 275. entitled "An Act regulat-
ing the loan of money, when as security for such loan,
a lien is taken upon household furniture and effects,
musical instalments, typewriters and sewing machines
in use or located in any dwelling house, by repealing
and re enacting with amendments section 7 of Article
49 of Code of Public General Laws, title 'Interest and
Usuary,' as the same was re-enacted by chapter 404 of
the Acts of the General Assembly, passed at its Janu-
ary Session, in the year 1902."

Upon recommendation referred to the Committee on
Judiciary.

Mr. Hill, from Committee on Hygiene, reported with
the recommendation that it be referred to the Com-
mittee on Ways and Means,

Senate bill, File No. 232, entitled "An Act to pro-
tect citizens of Maryland from certain communicable
diseases especially tuberculosis. of the lungs and
larynx."

Upon recommendation, referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

Mr. Bouchet, from Committee on Militia, reported
favorably, with amendments, and with the recommen-
dation that it be referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means,
