House bill, File No. 816, entitled "An Act to au-
thorize and direct the treasurer to pay certain retired
school teachers as provided in section 53 A chapter
196 of the Acts 1902.

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

After last word in section 1, add the following,
provided further that all moneys paid under the pro-
visions of this bill shall come from the appropriation
as provided in the omnibus bill of 1904 for the pay-
ment of pensions to retired teachers.

engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Linthicum from Committee'on Elections report-
ed favorably.

Senate bill, File No. 229, entitled "An Act to add a
new section to Article 33 of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, title 'Elections,' sub-title 'Judges and
Clerks of Elections', to follow section 9 D, and to be
known as 'Section 9 E.' "

Mr. Hill from Committee on Elections, reported
favorably,

Senate bill, File No. 306, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments sections 50 and 114 A
of Article 33 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
'Elections.' "

Mr. Keys from the Committee on Roads and High-
ways, reyorted favorably,

House bill, File No. 293, entitled "An Act for the
improvement of the public highways of this State and
to provide the means therefor by distributing amongst
the counties Of this State any monies derived by the
'State from the sale, lease or other disposition of the
oyster lands under the waters of this State, and to re-
quire the commission created by the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of 1896, chapter 51 to perform certain
additional duties."
