complete and finish the building of State Normal
School No. 2 at Frostburg in the year 1901, $5000.

Insert after item 88 the following item 88 A : "To
the Universal Progressive School for Orphan and Des-
titute Colored Children of Baltimore and State of
Maryland, the sum of one thousand dollars for the
fiscal year 1905, and the like sum of one thousand
dollars for the fiscal year 1906.

In section 47, strike out "five thousand" whenever
it occurs in said section and insert "seventv-five hun-
dred."

Amendment proposed to printed bill 449, to add
a new section to come after section 71 and to be known
as "Section 40 A."

"40 A. To the Trustees of Old School, commonly
known as the 'Bladensburg Academy, of Bladens
burg, Prince George's county, Maryland,' the sum of
two thousand dollars for building, furniture and main-
tenance."
