In line 296, section 82, strike out the words "one
thousand," and insert in lieu thereof "fifteen hun-
dred."

In line 297 strike out the words "one thousand,"
and insert in lieu thereof the words "fifteen hundred."

In line 298, after word "1896," add the following:

"Provided however, that the said McDonough Char-
ity School, a corporation, shall provide six free scholar-
ships and six tuition scholarships to students of
Charles county, who be appointed by the School Com-
missioners of said Charles county, with the approval
in writing of the Senator for that county ; and be it
further enacted, that the Treasurer of the State shall,
upon warrant of the Comptroller of the State Treasurer
pay such sums of money herein appropriated for the
objects and purposes hereinbefore specified to or upon
the order of the Trustees of the McDonough Charity
School, a corporation.

"Provided however, that before any portion of the
said money shall be so paid, the Trustees of the said
McDonough Chanty School, shall file with the Trea-
surer of the State a bond, with surety to be approved
by him, in the penalty double the amount of the
aggregate sum herein appropriated, conditioned for
the performance of the condition hereinbefore im-
posed as to furnishing said scholarships."

84. To the Emergency Hospital at Frederick the sum
of $1200 for the fiscal year 1905, and the like sum of
$1200 for the fiscal year 1906.
