introduce a bill entitled "An Act to Regulate Sanitary
Plumbing and Gas Fitting and Sewer Drainage the
city of Baltimore."
On motion of Mr. Dawkins,
Leave was granted to the Ways and Means Com-
mittee to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal
sections 146 A, 146 B, 146 C, 146 D, 146 D 1, 146 E,
146 E 1, 146 F of Article 81 of the Code of Public
General Laws, title 'Revenue and Taxes,' sub-title
'Tax on Mortgages,' as the same was enacted by chap-
ter 120 of the Acts of 1896 and by chapters number
275, number 313 and number 501 of the Acts of 1898
and chapter 26 of the Acts of 1902."

Leave was granted the Judiciary Committee to in-
troduce a bill entitled "An Act to grant and declare
the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of
Maryland to the bequest made by and contained in the
last will and testament of Susannah Shaff, late of
Frederick county, Maryland, deceased, to the Council
of the Lutheran Congregation of St. Paul's, a body
corporate at Jefferson, Frederick county, Maryland."
On motion of Mr. Howard,
Leave was granted the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to require all Cor-
porations, engaged in mining coal or fire-clay in Gar-
ret county to pay their employes wages due semi-
monthly."
