The Journal of January 25th was read and ap-
proved.

ORDERS.

On motion of Mr. Linthicum, it was
Ordered, That the State printers hereafter set the
yeas and nays in three columns, as formerly, instead
of solid, at a price not to exceed that of the session of.
1902.

Which was read and adopted.
On motion of Mr. Amiss, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Johnston be excused from attend-
ance at to-day's session because of missing train.
On motion of Mr. Kain, it was

Ordered, That the Speaker designate one of the
pages of this House, to be known as "Chief Page,"
whose duty, in addition to do the work, shall be to
instruct and supervise the other pages, and see that
the Journal and Bill Files of the Members are all kept
in proper order, without extra compensation.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Rules.

LEAVE TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Walls,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judic-
iary to introduce a bill entitled "An Act granting and
declaring the sanction of the General Assembly of the
State of Maryland to certain bequests."

On motion of Mr. Bennett,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the
Eastern Shore Poultry Farm Company."

On motion of Mr. Hiteshew,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judic-
