orably.

House bill, File No. 661, entitled "An Act to provide
for rebinding the Land Record Books of Washington
county, Maryland."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Bennett from Select Committee reported favor-
ably.

House bill, File No. 641, entitled "An Ace to amend
the Charter of Salisbury, Wicomico county, Mary-
land, as embodied in Article 23, sub-title 'Salisbury'
in the Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico county,
that is to say, to repeal sections 139. 140, 142, 144,
148, 152 and 154 of said Article 23, also to repeal
chapter 162 of the Acts of 1900, chapter 179 of the Acts
of 1900, and chapter 415 of the Acts of 1894, the said
Acts being amendatory of the said charter and to re-
enact the same with amendments, in sections and sub-
sections."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Howard, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill, File No. 631, entitled "An Act to repeal
and re-enact with amendments, section 6 of chapter
610 of the Acts of 1890, entitled 'An Act to enable
the qualified voters of Garrett county to determine
by ballot whether spirituous or fermented liquors
or alcoholic bitters shall be sold in said county, and
to regulate the terms and conditions on which the sale
thereof may be made in case the majority of the voters
of said county shall determine said question in the
affirmative,' and to regulate the sale thereof by
druggists and pharmacists."

engrossed for a third reading.
