Upon the completion of said index to the approval
of the Chief Clerk of this House, the Comptroller of
the Treasury is hereby directed to draw his warrant
upon the Treasurer for the said sum of $800 in favor
of Wm. J. C. Dulany Company, State Printer.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Claims.

On motion of Mr. Bald, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Henkel be excused from to-day's
session on account of business.

On motion or Mr. Duvall, it was

Ordered, That Mr. Lowman be excused from to-day's
session on account of important business.

Mr. Green offered the following:

Whereas, The House of Delegates directed, on
March 16th, the State Printer to print 200 copies of
House bill No. 339, sub-title "Roads."

Ordered by the House of Delegates, That Wm. J.
C. Dulany Company, State Printers, be paid the sum
of $75, for ptinting 200 copies of House bill No. 339,
the same to be taken out of the appropriation for
State printing for the session of 1904.
