Self to owe and be indebted unto their Maties King William & Queen Mary the just Sum of Thirty pounds Sterling

money of England & the Securities (viz) James Knox & John Winsor the Sum of thirty pounds a piece like money

aforesd all due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels Lands & tennements all due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels

The Condition of this Recognizance if Such that if the above bound Jane Carr be of the good behaviour & abearance to

To the Worll. the Comrs of Somerset County now in Court Sitting The humble petion of William, Tabitha & Priscilla

White. Children & Orphants & Orphants of mr John: White (late of this County Gent. Deceased humbly Sheweth. —

That Whereas yr Petioners are arived to their Several & respective full ages, & have made a Legal demand to mr Lawrence

Crawford, That intermarried with their Mother / of their Several & respective portions Bequeathed to them by ye

Last Will & Testamt of their deceased ffather, which the Said Crawford hath in his posession & doeth Still detaine

from them. Now yr Petioners humbly Craves that yr worpps would be pleased to Order that the Said mr Lawrence

Crawford may furthwith deliver them their Said Several & respective portions and yr Petioners as in duty bound

Shall humbly pray &ca. Wm: White, Tabitha: White. Priscilla: White .

              Upon which Petion to this Court. it was then Ordered by ye Justices in Court Sitting. that a Sumons be

             issued for the sd Crawford to appear before their Worpps tomorrow ye 13th. instant to answer ye Complaint of

              the Orphants of mr John: White &ca. a Coppy of which Order was left at ye sd Crawfords house [pr - ]


              

Somerset Ss //To ye Worll.the Justices of the Peace for this County now in Court Sitting. The humble Petion of Maren

Smith Sheweth that yr Petioner being the Widdow of James:Smith late of this County deceased, who left behind him 2

Sonns in the Care & Custody of yr Petioner, who hath taken pains & Care both to maintain ye Sd Orphants & Se[cure]

what Estate was left by their ffather, Now whereas Some threaton to take the sd Orphants away from yr Petioner

humbly Craves yr Worps judgmt. Concerning the said Orphants. And yr Petioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.
