Mary Cullen this day brought her Daughter Mary before the Justices in Court Sitting, desireing she might be

bound over to Thomas: Tull which the Court Orders & Confirms to sd Tull. he y^e sd Tull assumeing to give

the sd Mary a two year old Heifer when she attains to ten years of age as also to learn her to Read in y^e bible

Mary Whiteing this Day produced & exhibited to the Wor^ll. y^e Justices in Court her Indenture humbly Supplicateing

for her freedom. which Indenture being read & considered it appeared to their Worpp^s the sd Mary was a free woman

doe p^rsent John: Scholfield of this County for keeping of Rob^t. Houston Orphant of Robert Houlston out of his just

due & makeing Waste of what the Said Orphant his father left him.

Jane: Carr.                         Jane Carr late of the said County Spinster for that y^e Said Jane not having y^e fear of God

body born a Bastard Child, to the dishonour of God, & Contrary to the good laws of this Province in this Case made and

                The Indictment being read, to which y^e sd Jane Carr pleaded guilty. denying to tell the father of her late

                Bastard Child. Therefore the Court Ordered the sd Jane thirty lashes on her bare back well laid on

                the Coppy of which Order was delivered to y^e Sher. who Executed the Same. //

Ordered. also by the Court that the Said Jane give Security for her good behaviou^r & fees. Whereupon Came the sd Jane & her

Two Securities (viz) James. Knox & John Winsor. And the Said Jane did p^r Recognizance acknowledge & Confess her
