The Said Morgan p^r Sam Worthington his Attorney Complains that whereas the Said John:Hanson at Snow hill

within the Jurisdiction of this Court, on the fifth day of July an^o Dom:1689 p^r his Certain Bill Obligatory –

under the hand & Seal of the Said John. here in Court ready to be produced became indebted to the sd Henry Morgan

in the Sum of Six hundred pounds of tobacco & Caske to be paid at Snow hill Landing at or before the tenth day

of October next ensueing the data hereof to the true p^rformance whereof y^e sd John: bound himself firmly by y^e

Said Bill, that the Sum of Six hundred pounds of tobacco he would well & truly Content & pay Satisfie unto y^e sd Morgan

Nevertheless the Said John the Said Sum of tobacco to the sd Henry hath not paid, and hitherto doth refuse to pay

to the great loss & damage of y^e sd Morgan of 1200^lb of like tobacco & thereupon he brings his Sute &ca.
