James Round Plt              January ye 10th: 1693/4 //

             agt         }     The Deposition of Charles Raclift aged about fourty five years or thereabouts Saith that

Robert: Howard dft.       about three years ago Master James Round, Requested me to go along with him upon -of

- - - - - - - -           a parcell of Land Called Parsonses Island, which place mr James Round Said was in Controversie

Between him and Robert: Howard at that time mr James Round & I being upon that Land & others with us mr

James: Round took out his Compass and began at an Oister Shell banke near the mouth of a Creek Comonly Called

Parsonses Creek and runing along a line of Marked Trees we Came to a post & Raile fence & there wee Stopped

and the Said mr James Round Said that a great part of that ffence was upon his Land. And the Said mr James Round

desired us to reckon & take ye accot. how many pannel of ffence as aforesd was upon that Land, which he said was his

did & & there was one hundred fifty & two pannel of Post and Raile fence, to the best of my knowledge. This the

Deponent Saith and further Saith not             Cha: Raclift

              The abovesd Deponent ye day & yeaer abovesd in Open Court made Oath to ye truth of the abovesd Deposition

January 10th- 1693/4. The Deposition of Thomas ffenwick Aged fourty two years or thereabouts.About

three years ago mr James: Round desired me to carry a letter to Robert: Howard, and to read it to him before

Witnesses, if I could gett them when I came to Robert: Howards house, there was no Witnesses there but

Richard: Hill Blacksmith. I read the letter to Robert Howard before ye aforesd Hill, the Contents of the letter to

the best of my remembrance was forewarning or discharging ye aforesd Howard to fence in any of his Land

upon Parsonses Island, the words was either not to Sett up a fence there upon his Land, or if it was Sett up to

pull it downe, but the best of my remembrance, the words were discharging him to Sett up ye fence. Robert Howard

answer was that mr James Round had no Land there except it were Some Small bitts or peaces or points of

Marshes not worth ye takeing up of this the Deponent Saith & further Saith not. Tho: ffenwick

         The abovesd deposition ye day & year abovesd in Open Court made Oath to ye truth of the abovesd Deposition

January 10th. 1693/4. the Deposition of James Walker aged thirty eight years or thereabouts Sayeth that about

three years ago Master James Round requested me to goe along with him upon a persel of Land called Parsonses

Island, which place Master James Round Said was in Controversie between him & Robert: Howard at that time

mr James Round & I being upon that Land & others with us mr James Round took his Compas & began at an

Oister Shell bank, near the mouth of a Creek Comonly Called Parsonses Creek and runing along with his Compass

upon a line of Marked Trees wee Came to a post & Raile ffence, & there wee Stopped, then ye aforesd mr James

January 10th. 1693/4 // The Deposition of Henry: Allan. Aged thirty five years or there about. Three years

agoe or there about I being at mrs Scotts house at Rehobeth in Sussex County in ye territories of Pennsilvania

Mrs Scott asked me, what she should give me to Sett up a piece of ffencing, I asked where it was, she told me it was

in St. Martins, at a place called Parsonses Island. mrs Scott & I came to Robert: Howards, And there mrs Scott and I

bargained to Sett up three hundred pannel of Post and Raile ffence or there about, So mrs Scott Robert: Howard
