( 17 ) Whereupon Comand was given to the Sheriff to bring here twelve good & Lawfull men of his Balywick that the matter in hand might be the better understood a List or pannell wherein were returned as followeth (viz) Richard: Chambers William Planner Senr. Jno.Mcknitt.Robert Smith. William Law Wm:Alexander Junr. Wm: Curre ffrancis Joyce. Richard:Holland Wm:Lawrence Jno.Mcbride Stephen: Costine 12) who being legally Sumoned returned & Sworn upon the holy Evangelists who having heard the foresd Declaracon as also three Evidences upon their Oaths examined, as also the following lines read receives their Charge & are Sent forth in Order to determine the matter. - - - - - - - - - - - -

And this day (viz) the day aforesd Came the Jurors of the aforesd Jury And being demanded all unanimously agreed of their Verdict the plt & defendts likewise calld the verdict is read in these express words following (viz) The Jurors finds for the plaintiff. Nehemiah: Covington brings his Servant Thomas: Hall to be adjudged of his age: The said Hall comeing into this Country without Indenture as he declared, And after full view, the Court adjudged the Said Thomas Hall to be thirteen years of age.
