That Robert Deux late of this County decd was indebter unto May 29 To 2 gals & 1 qt.brandy - - - - - 112 your Petioner at the time of his death two hundred Seaventy six June. 4 To 1 qt brandy & Sugar to Robt.Edge 015 pounds of Tobacco. Your worpps Petioner therefore humbly July. 1 To 22 gals & 1.pint brandy - - -137 prayes yr worpps Ordr. to the Admr to pay him his Said debt.& 12 To 1 qrt. brandy. to Robt. The 18th: July. 1688. Pay the Contents of this Bill to mr Richd. ffarewell or order: to my Order. Jno: Loder. The aforesd ffarewell made Oath that the sd Deux promised him payment of the abovesd 276 pounds but that he never recd any part thereof. Order then was granted agt the Admr. for 276 pounds of tobacco als Exec ~
To the Worll. the Justices of Somerset County. The humble Petion of Michael Holland humbly Craveth that [whereas] your Petioner Shall be by the Continuance of the Road extraordinary damnified most humbly beggeth that you would be pleased to take it into your Serious Consideration that he may alter the Road about fourty or fifty yards wherein the Road Shall be rather amended then damnified. I most humbly (once) againe begg your Serious Consideration herein, and yr Petioner Shall as in duty he is bound. ___ - - - - - - - _______ - - - - - - -
The abovesd Petion being read was granted & Ordered that sd Holland doe make the Newe Road twenty feet Wide passable for horse & foot. mr. Tho: Jones entered his discent to sd New Road. - - - - -
John: Browne in Open Court acknowledged himself to be indebted to their Maties in ye Sum of tenn pounds Sterling money due to be leavied on his goods & Chattels Lands & tennemts for their Maties uses &ca. The Condicon of the abovesd Recognizance is Such that if Agnes the Wife of Jno. Browne aforesd doe make her personall appearance before our Justices in Court Sitting tomorrow being ye 10th. of August to answer the Complaint of Capt. Henry Smith then the Recognizance void, otherwayes to be & remaine in full force & vertue. - - - -

Ordered That a Grand Jury be Sumoned.
James Weatherley being this day Comitted into the Sheriffs Custody, was same day brought into Court and was ffined for being drunk, and for Swearing one oath at Court & another at Andrew:Whittingtons. Ordered by Court the sd Weatherley give Security for his fines behaviour. & fees. - - - - - ________ - - - - - ______ Whereupon Came the said Weatherley & his Security Andrew: Whittington and the Said Weatherley did acknowledge Confess him Self to be indebted to their Maties King Wm. & Queen Mary ye Sum of tenn pounds Sterling money & - Whittington the Sum of 5£ like money due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels Lands & tennemts for Maties uses.
