Upon motion made to the Worshipfull the Justices in Court Sitting by the Orphants of mr John White deceased it

was Ordered that the Sheriff take into Custody the body of Lawrence Crawford So that he appear forthwith before the

Justices in Court Sitting to answer his Contempt. &ca.

mr Ephraim Wilson brought his Servant Boy Edward Camplin to be bound over Apprentice, the sd Boy adjudged four years of age

the 14 day of November last past. And this Court doth bind the sd boy to the Said Wilson till 21: years old in Consideration

of One thousand pounds of tobacco already pd the sd Boyes ffather as also that the sd Wilson to learn the sd boy to read

the new Testament through & to give sd boy a Two year old Heifer when free.

Know all Men by these presents that I John: Chancelor of the County abovesd in the Province of Maryland doe fimly bind unto

William: Wouldhave of the place aforesd his Heirs Extors Admrs my Son Henry Chancellor aged five years the twenty Sixth day

of January this prsent year, the said Henry: Chancellor faithfully to Serve the Said Wm: Wouldhave his Heirs Extors of Admrs

the full term or time of years which is usual & according to the Custome of the Country in the like Case, in all Such

Lawfull employments as he or they Shall imploy him in. In Consideration of which Service the Sd Wm. Wouldhave

doth oblige him Self his Heirs Extors & Admrs to pay & deliver unto the Said Henry Chancellor One Cow Calf the next year

following the date hereof & marke ye Same for him, all the female increase whereof to run for his benefit while the

expiration of the term aforesd & further to find him his Said Servant. with Sufficient meat drink apparell, washing

& lodging dureing the Said Term as also to doe his endeavour to teach him to read, in Case he can have it done in his own

house. In Conformation of all which the parties above mentioned have hereunto Sett their hands & fixed their Seales

this 12th . day of ffebruary 1693/4.
