Having received a Sumons for my appearance at Court, but urgent occasion interveining that could not attend there

desire when calld y^w would enquire the Cause & remitt it to your friend –            Lawrence Crawford

   The foresd Orphants Petion Sumons Order & Note to m^r Pirrie it was by the Justices aforesd Considered & Order

    that the Sheriff of this County take into his Custody the body of Lawrence Crawford & him Safe keep until

    he give good Security as well to answer his Contempt to this Court as to answer y^e Complaint of y^e Orphants

    of m^r John White decd and that in the interim the sd Estate be no wayes wasted or imbezled — The Security

    to be taken is 50^lb Sterl for y^e Contempt & 450 lb Sterl to y^e Orphants as p^r Order &ca.

& just Sum or quantity of Two Thousand four hundred Eighty five Pounds of good Sound Merchantable tobacco

in Caske, due to be paid unto the Said ffrancis his Heirs Extors or Adm^rs it being for a valuable Consideration in

hand allready recd, to which payment well & truely to be made & done I bind my Self my Heirs Extors & Adm^rs firmly
