   Isabell Davison Stole from John: Cornish. vizt
      lb tob.
   eight yards & half flowred Stuffe value -   -  200

The aforesd Isabell Davison appearing did Confess to the Court that she was
guilty, and had Stolen the perticulers above mentioned. which being Considered
the Court Orders the said Isabell pay four fold to mr John: Cornish. which four
fold amounts to two thousand and eighty pounds of tobacco. ______________
 
  Ordered likewise Corporal punishment vizt five lashes) upon the bare back
of the Said Isabell well laid on which by the Sheriffe was Executed. ______
 
Ordered likewise that Patrick Davison & Isabell his Wife give good Security
for the aforesd fourfold & Court Charges.  Ordered, into Sher. Custody til Sec given
 
     Whereupon Came the aforesd Patrick Davison & Isabell his wife and by
Recognizance did Confess them Selves to owe & be indebted unto our Soveraign Lord
& Lady Wm: & Mary King & Queen of England &ca. the just Sum of tenn pounds
Sterling money of England, due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels Lands and
Tennemts. for their Maties uses &ca. Likewise came their Security mr James: Round
& pr Recog. did likewise become bound in the Sum of five pounds Sterling in mannr
& form aforesd &ca.  ___
 
The Condition of the abovesd Recognizance is Such that if the above bound Patr.
Davison & Isabell his wife, doe well & truly pay the abovesd fourfold viz 2080lb
tobacco, as also be of good behaviour to all their Maties Liege People dureing this
Courts pleasure then the Recognizance to be void and of none effect, otherwayes to be and
remaine in full power force and vertue . ________   - - - - - - -  ________   - - - - - -   ____
