George Davis Indenture was this day read as appears in libr. B.W. Z. fo: 153
and it is by this Court Ordered. That the Cow mentioned in Sd Indenture be delivered
to Said Georges Mother with its calfe when due to be by her kept for said Georges use
which is assented to by Samuel: Johnson. Master to sd George: The Said Georges Mother
Sayes that he is Six years old. the first week in April next. Court affirms the Indenture

To the worll. Justices of Somerset County now in Court Sitting ___ The humble petion
of George Benson humbly Sheweth that your petioner was fined in November Court last
past, which fine yr Petioner is uncapable for to pay by the reason that yr Petioner is
poor and hath a Wife and a great charge of Small Children, and hardly Capable for to
mentaine them, your petioner Craving yr worps. Serious Consideration One before and
did understand that it could not be done, until that Peter Whaples Came to a Tryall
which now hath been. Your poor petioner Craves yr worps to Consider into ye prmises
and yr petioner in duty Shall ever pray.                            George Benson         his marke
 
    The abovesd Petion being read was not granted.  The sd Benson verbally
                Craved allowance for his tendance, being Sumd agt Peter Whaples not granted
 
Their Maties.                                     October. 5th 1692 .
         Contra       }       Memorandum.  This day Came mr John: Cornish of this
Isabel: Davison          County Merchant & brought before me Patrick: Davison
-  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -  -      and Isabell his Wife, taken by vertue of a Hue and
Cry obtained from mr ffra: Jenckins, mentioning Severall misdemeanours by
them Comitted, and the said Isabell being duely Examined before me did Confess
that She had felloniously Stolne and taken away from the sd Jno. Cornish eight
yards and a half of flowred Stuffe, One bible, and One gold ring
