  Contra          }           this County was Sumoned to answer unto Moses
Wm: Henderson. Dft            ffenton of a Plea y^t he render to him three thousand
~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~   ~           foot of Cypress plank, which to him he oweth & unjustly
deteineth C   And whereupon y^e Said Moses by Peter Dent his Attorny Saith y^t the
Said Wm. y^e 19^th. day of 9ber in y^e year of our Lord 1690, at Pocomoke within y^e Jurisdiction
of this Court by his Certain Bill Obligatory, which the said Moses with the Seal of y^e said
William Signed bringeth here into Court. the date where of is the day & year aforesaid
acknowledged himself to be justly indebted to the sd Moses in y^e sd full & just Sum of 3000
foot of Cypresse plank to be paid to the said Moses at John: Hendersons Landing at or before
the 10^th. day of December next ensueing the date of the Said Bill, to which payment well
and truly to be made, the Said Wm bound himself by the said Bill. Nevertheless y^e Said
William. the said Plank to the Said Moses hath not paid to the damage of the said Moses of
6000 foot of Plank & thereof he brings his Suite &ca.                              Jn^o. Doe

This Bill bindeth me William Henderson of Somerset County in the Province of Maryland or my
Heirs Ext^rs Adm^rs & Assigns to pay or Cause to be paid, unto Moses ffenton of the Same County
& Province aforesd Cordwinder him his Ext^rs Adm^rs or Assigns y^e just Sum or quantity of
three thousand foot of Cypress plank to be p^d at Jn^o: Hendersons landing at or before y^e 10^th
of December next ensueing the date hereof as wittness my hand & Seal this 19^th. day of 9ber
