  Know all men by these presents that we William: Owen of the Province aforesd Planter
& Thomas: ffenwick of the Same County & Province Gentleman are held & firmly bound
unto m^r Stephen Luffe high Sheriffe of the County aforesd, in the full & just Sum of tenn
pounds Sterling money of England to the true payment thereof well & truely to be
made to the sd Stephen Luffe, his Certaine Attorney Ext^rs Adm^rs or Assigns we bind us and
either of us joyntly & Severally for y^e whole & in y^e whole our & either of o^r Heirs =
Execcuto^rs & Adm^rs firmly by these presents Sealed with our Seals this 27^th. day of July 1692
The Condition of this Obligation is Such that if the above bounden Walter: Owen
Shall personally be & appear before o^r Justices of o^r next County Court to be holden the
Second tuesday in August then & there to answer there Maties, what shall be Objected
agt him, as also to continue & Abide judgment then this Obligation to be void & of none
effect or Otherwayes to remaine, in full force Strength effect & vertue . _________
