( 6 ) August 8th. Anno 1692 your Excellency, or otherwayes as your Excellency shall Order or think fitt. So that your Excellencies most humble petioner may not by his returning to his habitation be imprisoned for thereby he will be, by lying in prison until the Court Come utterly ruined & despoiled in his Estate & future livelyhood. C The premises Considered yr most humble Petioner humbly beggs your Excellencies most Emence favour & goodness to extend towards him so far as that he may have liberty to put in Security to answer for any Crime or Crimes that shall be alleadged against him as aforesd, and not be, as he greatly fears imprissoned, and he as in duty bound Shall ever pray &ca. 30: April 1692. That whereas your worpps humble Petioner being now of age according to the judgmt. of this Court. Humbly Craves that She may have Order for her Estate, not only what is in the hands & posession of her guardian Thomas: Morris, but also what household goods is in the Custody of William: Innis, and there Secured by my Said Guardian by vertue of an Order granted to him by mr Samuel: Hopkins for the Same. and yr Petioner as in duty bound shall pray Elizabeth: Smith The Petion being read This Court Orders that Thomas: Morris deliver the said Elizabeth: Smith her Estate as prayed - - - - - - - - - - - - To the worll. the Comrs. of Somerset County now Sitting in Court, the humble Petion of Isaac Heaman humbly Sheweth. Whereas your Petioner being unable to gett his livelyhood humbly requests your worps. that he may be Tax free. your petioner shall in duty pray Which Petion being read was by this Court granted.
