James to the Said ffrancis in manne^r aforesd being indebted did assume upon him Self & to the
Said ffrancis faithfully promise that he the Said James the Said Sum of tobacco when he should
be thereunto requested to the said ffrancis would well & truly Content & pay Nevertheless the
Said James his promise & assumption aforesd not regarding, but minding the Said ffrancis in
this behalf to deceive, the Said Sum of Tobacco to the said ffrancis hath not paid, to the damage
of the Said ffrancis of 369^lb of tob & thereof he brings his Suite   _______________________
