and there One hogshead of tobacco, weighing neat four hundred & fourty pounds neat being the
tobacco of One Bryan Dougherty at the house of Thomas Tull in the County afd the Same
did Seize & take Contrary to the Peace & agt the form of an Act of Assembly in that Case made

The Petion of Ellis Coleman humbly Sheweth that y^r worpp^s are now Senscible of the great
damage losse & trouble y^r Petioner hath Susteined by unjust molestation, So that y^r Petioner
is ruined, may be plainly Seen the Charges being So Considerable, that y^r Petione^r is made
uncapable of the paym^t. if the Law requires it, which Petioner not being therewith acquainted
would have y^r result, whether a party unjustly molestly & acquitted Ought to pay Evidences
Charges, which if in Law is required, your Petione^r will as in duty fulfill y^e Orders y^r worshipps
prescribes. hopeing y^r worps will grant no Execution for Evidences Charges, except the Law
requires it And y^r Petioner Shall as in duty Ever bound pray. - - -     vide Colemans tryall.

Anne:Rice humbly Sheweth that y^r Petioner being Sumoned an evidence to this Court in the
behalf of John:ffreeman agt Ellis Coleman & did tend in Jan^ry Court last three dayes time
and this June Court four dayes in all Seaven dayes, y^r Petioner therefore prayeth y^r worps Order
agt the Said John:ffreeman for p^rsent paym^t of the Same of two hundred & tenn pounds of
