Indictmt Quasht Where upon this Court Orders the Informer Ge:Noble to pay Officers ffees. _____ Their Maties Somerset County Ss // Contra } The Grand Jury for the body of this County On the 15th: day of Saml: Worthington March in the year of our Lord 1692/3 // at a Court held at Monocan ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ within this County upon their Oaths doe present Saml Worthington of the Same County Under Sheriff for that the Said Samuel, the eleaventh day of ffebry in ye year of or Lord 1692/3 at animessex & in the County afsd, under pretence of publick dues then and there One hogshead of tobacco, weighing neat four hundred & fourty pounds neat being the tobacco of One Bryan Dougherty at the house of Thomas Tull in the County afd the Same did Seize & take Contrary to the Peace & agt the form of an Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided. Ordered Worthington pay fees . tryall 15th: day June To the worll. their Maties Justices of the Peace for the County of Somerset in Court Sitting The Petion of Ellis Coleman humbly Sheweth that yr worpps are now Senscible of the great damage losse & trouble yr Petioner hath Susteined by unjust molestation, So that yr Petioner is ruined, may be plainly Seen the Charges being So Considerable, that yr Petioner is made uncapable of the paymt. if the Law requires it, which Petioner not being therewith acquainted would have yr result, whether a party unjustly molestly & acquitted Ought to pay Evidences Charges, which if in Law is required, your Petioner will as in duty fulfill ye Orders yr worshipps prescribes. hopeing yr worps will grant no Execution for Evidences Charges, except the Law requires it And yr Petioner Shall as in duty Ever bound pray. - - - vide Colemans tryall.
