The Petion aforesd being read, the sd Dregers appearing, and promiseing to Court to
give the sd Windsleys boy one years Schooling, & each of them a yearling heifer ye next
Spring, which sd Dregers is to keep for them with their increase till sd Boy comes to age
which Stock is then to be equally devided betwixt them, the sd Dregers to have sd Heiffers
marked in the sd Childrens propper marks. ____  The Said Girl is fourteen years old
and the boy twelve years old pr Mothers Confession.  Ordered by this Court the Sd Girl
and Boy remain Still & be in Custody of the sd Dregers till at age by Law. _________
 
(Ordered) in Court that Jno. Bennett be Sumd for Andr: Whittington & Rich: Chambers agt Towers
 
(  Sarah: ) Whitty daughter of Capt. Rich: Whitty appa. Whittys will read, Ordr. the Sheriff Sumon
(Jno) Bozman & George: Betts that they appear before ye Justices in Court tomorrow ______
 
To the worll. the Comrs of Somerset County.  The humble Petion of James ffurnis orphan
humbly Sheweth C   That whereas John: Strawbridge Marrying yr Petioners Mother
is now posessed with Several Tracts of Land belonging to yr Petioner, for which Lands
there is litle or no Rents paid Since my ffathers decease, Notwithstanding that ye
Said Strawbridge (of part of the said Lands) receives thirteen or fourteen hundred pounds tobacco
rent pr annum, and yet the Said Strawbridge takes no care to discharge ye Quitt rents
due for the said Lands, which if not paid before yr petioner arives at full age, will
amount to Considerable Sum of tobacco, by reason whereof, in probability yr Petioner
maybe much damnifyed.  Your Petioner therefore humbly Craves, your worships
will Order the Said Strawbridge to put in Securitie for ye paymt. of the aforesd Rents
otherwise that the Said Lands may be remitted to the Custody of Some other person
who will take Care, that the said Rents may be duely Satisfied & yr Petioner as in duty
bound Shall pray &ca.
After ye abovesd Petion was read, the said Jno. Strawbridge produced an
Award betwixt him the sd Strawbridge & Stephen Costin, which Award he the Said
Strawbridge, then assumed in Open Court to performe at or before next Augo Court
 
To the worll. their Maties Justices for Somerset County.  The humble Petion of Jno. Cole
humbly Sheweth to this Court That whereas your Petioner having a Cause depending
in the Court agt Teague:Riggen & your Petioner being a fforeigner inhabiting in
another Governmt humbly prayeth to this worll. Court, that the Cause depending against
the Said Teague:Riggen may forthwith Come to tryall & yr Petioner shall ever pray
