( 238 ) Having recd their Charge are Sent forth in Order to return their Verdict. - - - - - - - Michael Hollands accot. prferred by him Self, though not, Signed. viz) To Mr Thiefs Account. An account of what I have had Stolen out of my house Since Ieft Maryland in the year 1692. To 60: yds of Scotch Cloth or there abouts To 8. bushels Salt. To 30 pound Cottne in the Store To above half my Corn Stolen out of my Loft, but how much I cannot tell but those that See it thinks they made 15: Barrels, & my house broken up. - - - - - - - And this day (viz) the day afd the Jurors of the foresd Jury betwixt their Maties and ye sd James Gray & Margarett his Wife, makes their return to the Barr in Court, each man being ptticularly calld, being unanimously agreed of their verdict their Maties & the defendants likewise being calld. The verdict is in these express words read (viz) wee of the Jury find them not guilty of this Indictmt. William: WP, Planner foreman Which verdict aforesd being read, The worll Court Ordered the Same to be entered and further Ordered the Said James: Gray to find Security for him Self & Wifes good behaviour dureing pleasure & for Officers fees. - - - - - Whereupon Came the Said James Gray with his Security Capt. Wm:Coulbourne And the Said Gray did acknowledge himSelf to be indebted to their Maties King Wm & Queen Mary the Sum of twenty pounds Sterling money of England and the sd Capt. Wm: Coulbourne in the Sum of tenn pounds like money due to be leavied on their goods & Chattels Lands & Tennements for their Maties uses &ca. The Condicon of which Recognizance is Such that if the above bound James Gray and Margarett his Wife be of their good behavior & Abearance to all their Maties Liedge people of this Province dureing the Courts pleasure as also pay Officers fees, Then this Recognizance to be void & of none effect Otherwayes to be & remaine in full power force & vertue. To the Worll Justices of their Maties Peace for the County of Somerset in Court now Sitting the humble Petion of Mary Windsley Widdow humbly Sheweth That whereas your worps Petioner hath two of my Children detained from yr Petioner by Devorax Dregars your Petioner Craves your worps Order to have my Children delivered unto me, & yr worps Petioner as in duty bound Shall ever pray &ca.
