To the worll. ye Comrs of Somerset County now in Court Sitting.  The humble Petion
of Stephen: Luffe Sheweth.  That whereas ye Estate of John. Trupshaw late of this
County deceased is & stands indebted unto yr Petioner in the just Sum of 366 lb of tob
as pr account doth appear, for which sd tob yr Petioner Craves Order agt mr ffr: Jenckins
who is Admr of the deceaseds Estate, & yr Petioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &ca.
Judgmt. Confest pr mr ffr: Jenckins for 366.lb.tob ut Supra .

Know all men by these presents that I John:Tripshaw of ye County of Somerset Brick
Layer my Heirs, Execcutors Admrs or Assigns, do acknowledge my Self to Stand justly
Indebted unto Thomas Newbold his Heirs & Assigns in the full & just Sum of eight
hundred & fifty pounds of good Sound Tobacco in Cask to be paid at or upon the first
of October next in the year One thousand Six hundred & ninety & one being for two
Caske Sider reced of the said Newbold, the Sd tob to be paid in Pocomoke River, in Witness
my hand & Seal, this 9th. day of October 1690.         his
