(         )  he lay at his house as he Came downe, and that he gave him the Civillity of
his house, and that the next morning he went away, and the Sd Colemans Wife related
to this Deponent that the Said Darbys Brother had a Clever paceing Mare, and She (wished)
that She had Such a Beast for her Own use, to the truth of all which or the Substance of
the Same this Deponent hath hereunto Sett his hand this first day of ffebry 1692/3  //

The Deposition of Wm: Bowden Aged fourty years or thereabouts, who deposeth & Saith
that he being at the house of mr Ellis:Coleman on the Seaventh of this Instant Janry
at night, the sd Coleman & his Wife fell to high words, he calld her whore, and after
many Such terms She came up with her fist to his face, telling him that he was A
Thief & an old murdering Rogue& She would prove him Soe, Saying to ye Same
purpose, and that She would prove both, this Deponent Saith more then twenty times
that night, they continueing in Such like discourse, at least two hours to the best of
his judgment, and further this Deponent Saith not, to the truth of all which this Deponent
hath hereunto Sett his hand this 30th. day of Janry 1692/3  //

and Compared with the Deponents words upon Oath. and found in Substance agreeable
Then was produced these following precepts by the Said Coleman which was read in
Court as followth. B
