And whereupon the Said John by Peter Dent his Atto^rney Saith that the Said
David the 13^th day of October in the year of our Lord 1683. by his Certain Bill Obligatory
which the Said John with the Seal of the Said David Signed bringeth here into Court the
Date whereof is the day & year aforesd acknowledged himself to be bound to the Said
John in the Said Just quantity of 9000 good Sufficient eight penny nails & 1000:Of
twenty penny nails to be paid to the Said John:at or before the first day of March next
ensueing the date hereof the Said Bill. Nevertheless the Said David the Same to the
Said John hath not rendered but hath hitherto refused & doth Still refuse to the damage
of the Said John of 5000 Pounds of tobacco & thereupon he brings this Sute.

of every way good arronoco tobacco & Caske, which to him he Oweth & unjustly detaineth
And whereupon the Said John: by Peter Dent his Attorney Saith that the Said
David the 13^th day of October in the year of o^r Lord 1683. by his Certain Bill
Obligatory which the Said John with the Seal of the Said David Signed bringeth
here into Court, the date whereof is the day & year aforesd, acknowledged himself
to be bound to the Said John in y^e Said full & just Sum of 2500 Pounds of tobacco
to be paid to the Said John. Convenient at or upon the 10^th. day of October C
ensueing the date of the Said. Nevertheless the Said David the Said Sum of 2500
Pounds of tobacco to the Said John, hath not paid but hath hitherto refused and
doth Still refuse to the damage of the said John of 5000 Pounds of tobacco and
hereupon he brings this Sute &ca.
