which to him he Oweth & unjustly detaineth &ca ______
 
And whereupon the plt Said John by Peter Dent his Atto^rney Saith that the said
David y^e 13^th. day of October in the year of our Lord 1683. by his Certain Bill =
Obligatory which the Said John:with the Seal of the said David Signed bringeth here
into Court y^e date whereof is the day & year aforesd, acknowledged himself to be bound to the
Said John in the Said Sum of 5000. good Sufficient eight penny nails to be paid to the sd
John. at or before the 20^th .day of Decemb^r in the year of o^r Lord 1684. Nevertheless the said
David the Said Sum of 5000 Eight penny nails to the Said John hath not paid but hath hither
to refused & doth Still refuse to the damage of the Said John of 2500 Pounds of tobacco
& thereof he brings his Sute.
