the full & just Sum of four hundred pounds of tobacco, which Sd Sum by the Said dft hath been
(         ) &  acknowledged to be the right of the Said Plt Adm^r to the said Estate but the (Said
Defend^t) by Some Clandestine means or other fraudulent Act, hath gott up his Bill, which Said
(Bill the) Said Dft. did own & Confess to be in the Custody of George Seaward but nothing thereof
(           ) the Estate either to the Said Josias in his life time or to the Widdow Since his decease
     the plt as Adm^r of the Said Estate Neither can the Said deft, give any just acco^t. that
the Said Tobacco is paid for the use of the Said Estate by any warrantable Order by
(Word) or write from the Said Josias in his life time or Since by the plt. Adm^r So that the said
(dft) fraudulently & Craftily intending to deceive the Widdow & Orphants of the same hath
denyed paym^t & yett doth deny to give any other Satisfaction then that he hath paid the
Same, but how & When it was paid doth yett refuse to give an acco^t. wherefore the plt Sayes
he is damnified & hath losse to the value of eight hundred pounds of tobacco & hereupon

     The Defend^t. by Peter Dent Saith he is no wayes indebted to the Estate of the said Seaward
nor to the Said Adm^r as aforesd & puts him Self on the Court // Dent p^r Dfendant.
 
The plt maintains his plea & Sath that he hath Owned the debt & desires it may be enquired

Sayes that the afore named Edward:Dickinson in his life time became & Stood justly indebted
unto the Said John:White in the said John:Whites life time, in the full & just Sum of five
hundred & Seaven pounds of good sound mertable tobacco in Caske to be paid Convenient to the
Said John:White his Heirs Extors Adm^rs or Assigns (upon demand) as doth & may appear by specialty
under the hand and Seal of the Said Edward deceased bearing date the 15^th day of Jan^ry An^o.
